Description
De Van ‘n Bike Heavy Duty is an additional option that we recommend when using bicycle carriers with 3 or more bicycle channels.
It provides a fourth point of support by absorbing the weight and torsion while driving.
The system, which consists of a retractable strap with a hook, can be easily mounted with 1 bolt on the Van 'n Bike bicycle carrier system.
Each Van 'n Bike bicycle carrier system is equipped with a blind rivet nut to mount the HeavyDuty.
This blind rivet nut can be found on the left side of the middle horizontal tube and is covered by a black plastic screw.
An 'eye' is attached to the hinge on the top left side of the CamperVan, to which the hook of the HeavyDuty can be attached.
The HeavyDuty can then be tightened with the lever.
To release the HeavyDuty, press the red button.
The belt will then relax, allowing the hook to be easily removed from the 'eye'.
The belt will automatically retract.
