Almost anything that can be prepared in a regular oven can also be made in an Omnia.
This ingenious Swedish Omnia oven is easy to use and consists of 3 parts :
A sheet steel base that is placed with the centre opening directly over the flame or on the middle of the sheet, an aluminium baking tray with centre opening for spreading the upper heat and an aluminium lid.
For the baking of sandwiches, we recommend the Omnia oven grid.
For easier baking of cakes and breads, the Omnia silicone baking mould is a must.
If you like to bake fish and/or meat dishes, the Omnia DUO baking mould set is another option.
The oven grid must be ordered separately.
The Omnia over weighs very light, only about 500 grams.
The baking tin has a capacity of approx. 2 litres.
The total height including knob is 14 cm.
We are now also users of the Omnia oven ourselves.
It took some getting used to at first, because you have to find out how high you put the fire.
This depends on the food you prepare in it. Our experience is that you should start with a moderate heat and then adjust if necessary.
After using it a few times, you really get a feel for the Omnia and it becomes indispensable!
