The Thule Velospace XT2 black is a versatile bike carrier for all types of bikes, from e-bikes and fatbikes to small children's bikes.
The black version, as the name suggests, is entirely in black.
Instead of aluminium-coloured, the cycle gutters and cycle arms are in matt black.
The current model Velospace XT2 is much easier to mount and adjust than the previous model Velospace.
This is because the bicycle rack already remains stable on the tow bar before the attachment handle is pushed down. More comfort therefore!
It has extra space between the wheel holders (25 cm) to easily accommodate large, heavy bikes.
The extra-large wheel chutes allow the transportation of large bicycles (with a wide wheelbase of up to 1300 mm).
The adjustable pump buckles, with extra long quick-release straps to secure wheels (up to 4.7″), make this even easier!
Easy access to the boot, even with the bikes on it, thanks to the smart foot pedal with tilt function.
Lock your bicycles on the bicycle rack and your bicycle rack on the tow bar (including locks).
Easy attachment of bikes through detachable bike arms with Thule AcuTight torque limiting buttons that click when the optimum grip is reached.
The load capacity can be increased to 3 bikes by adding a Thule VeloSpace XT Bike Adapter.
It can even be combined with a storage box, Thule BackSpace XT, to create an all-round load carrier, expanding the car's boot space by 300 litres.
In combination with Thule BackSpace XT, one more bike can be carried by complementing it with Thule Velospace XT Bike Adapter with Thule Backspace 3rd Bike Arm.
Be sure to check the permissible drawbar load for your towbar in order to find out your maximum load capacity!
