LPG is a mixture of butane and propane. Butane can "freeze" so that it becomes unusable in freezing weather.
Propane, on the other hand, is resistant to -42 degrees.
LPG also contains some oil and it is this oil that can adversely affect your gas burner so that it will no longer work.
Therefore, it is advisable to fill up with propane only.
This is a bit more expensive but does not damage your installation and remains usable under all circumstances.

I have always heard that propane is more common when camping. At least, I am not talking about small quantities, but about large ones, such as you find in motorhomes and caravans with a small kitchen. I would not want my gas to freeze.
Thank you for your response!
