The Heavy Duty is an additional option that we recommend when using bicycle carriers for 3 or 4 bicycles.
It provides a fourth point of support by absorbing the weight and torsion while driving.
The system, which consists of a retractable belt with hook, can easily be mounted on the Van 'n Bike with 1 bolt.
Each Van 'n Bike is equipped with a blind rivet nut to mount the Heavy Duty.
This blind rivet nut can be found on the left side of the middle horizontal tube and is covered by a black plastic screw.
An 'eye' is attached to the hinge on the top left side of the camper, to which the hook of the Heavy Duty can be attached.
The Heavy Duty can then be tightened with the lever.
To release the Heavy Duty, the red button must be pressed.
The belt will then relax, allowing the hook to be easily removed from the 'eye'.
The belt will automatically retract.
The price of the Heavy Duty is €60, including 21% VAT.
