Onze camperVan is onderaan het chassis voorzien van een damptank van 75 liter voor verwarming, koken, ijskast,…..
Er is ook een snelkoppeling voorzien om de BBQ aan te sluiten.
Door onderaan het chassis een damptank te laten plaatsen, creëer je plaats binnenin je camperVan.
Zo kan je de plaats waar normaal de gasflessen staan, gebruiken voor allerlei andere dingen zoals bv. schoenenkastje.
Met de damptank kun je LPG tanken maar dit is af te raden.
LPG is a mixture of butane and propane. Butane can "freeze" so that it becomes unusable in freezing weather.
Propane, on the other hand, is resistant to -42 degrees.
LPG also contains some oil and it is this oil that can adversely affect your gas burner so that it will no longer work.
Therefore, it is advisable to fill up with propane only.
This is a bit more expensive but does not damage your installation and remains usable under all circumstances.
