Our campervan is equipped with a 75 litre vapour tank at the bottom of the chassis for heating, cooking, refrigerator, etc.
A quick coupling is also provided to connect the BBQ.
By placing a vapour tank at the bottom of the chassis, you create space inside your campervan.
This way you can use the place where the gas bottles are normally located for all kinds of other things, such as a shoe cupboard.
You can use the vapor tank to fill up with LPG, but this is not recommended.
LPG is a mixture of butane and propane. Butane can 'freeze' so that it becomes unusable in freezing weather.
Propane, on the other hand, can withstand temperatures down to -42 degrees.
LPG also contains some oil and it is precisely this oil that can adversely affect your gas burner so that it will no longer work.
It is therefore advisable to only refuel with propane.
This is a bit more expensive, but it does not damage your installation and remains usable under all circumstances.
You should have your vapor tank checked every 10 years.
